We'd Love to Have You Join Us!
The Quincy Garden Club was first organized in 1948. In 1949 it joined the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs. The first club president was Mrs. W.D. Lines. Early club meetings were held at the Women’s Club. Soon after, the Bruce House was acquired as the Official Garden Center until 1975 when the Mark “Pat” Munroe home became the new headquarters for the Quincy Garden Club. This residence is now known as the Quincy Garden Center and remains as our headquarters. In 1956 the Club was chartered as a non-profit organization.
Energetic members are as interested in civic beautification as they are in their own gardens. Everyone desirous of creating an atmosphere of beauty in their home and community will find some avenue of self-expression as a member of one of the Garden Clubs Circles. The Garden Club is a service organization dedicated to the development of gardening, the betterment and beautification of the community and the exchange of ideas.

The Club's Projects Include:
– Maintaining the Garden Center’s house and gardens
– Planting in the Courthouse Square
– Observing Arbor Day and encouraging the planting of trees
– Promoting conservation and recycling
– Stimulating community interest in horticulture and beautification
– Contributing articles, pictures and information for the Garden Club scrap book, in reference to history of Quincy Garden Club, Quincy Garden Center, gardening and beautification projects (book kept at the Garden Center)

We are a neighborhood Garden Club that strives to promote good will and beautify our community. Each of the three Garden Club Circles has their own meetings, activities, field trips and community projects. New members of the Quincy Garden Club are encouraged to join a circle so they can be actively involved in many rewarding projects.
